  1. It is super cool to see how far the Maccabi team has come since 1932 when they were founded. They have many accomplishments, internationally and domestically, and that shows how well the players play together whether they are home or away, or in a tournament or a normal match. It is interesting to see how they use their success to support the community and promoting the sport to others around Israel.

  2. I think it is awesome that Maccabi Tel Aviv has made so much progress within the world of basketball. It is also so amazing that they were one of the first Israeli teams to win a European championship in any sport. That is truly a huge milestone for not only Maccabi Tel Aviv but for Israel as a country. Following that, they have won the Euroleague six times which has considered them to be one of the top teams within it. Aside from their success on the court, Maccabi Tel Aviv is also super involved with community service. They host many events that are aimed at promoting basketball in Israel and assisting underprivileged communities. I truly think that Maccabi Tel Aviv is an inspiration and such an admirable team. They truly have started from the bottom and have worked their way up to the top and is undeniable that they have grit. The fact that they go out of their way to help their community is praiseworthy. Do you know what struggles, if any, Maccabi Tel Aviv faced while developing their team?

  3. I agree with everything said above. I think its rewarding and promising with how much progress Maccabi Tev Aviv has made within basketball. Besides basketball I love the community initiatives they do. Being such a large organization its important to give back to the fans, and the community that support the team. I like how their mission is to support the under served in Israel. This team is in inspiration for others teams on their rich history, community service, and progressiveness in basketball.

  5. This blog states that the Maccabi Tel Aviv Basketball Club is a genuine representation of basketball's highest caliber in both Israel and Europe, and I feel I agree. The club's accomplishments in both local and foreign competitions, including winning the Israeli Premier League a record 51 times and the EuroLeague six times, are extremely impressive. I also value the club's dedication to social responsibility and community engagement. It is encouraging to see Maccabi Tel Aviv organizing activities and projects meant to advance basketball in Israel and assist underserved neighborhoods. What do you think would be another good idea for Tel Aviv in terms of service to the community?

  6. This was a fascinating post! It is so cool to see that a team can be so successful for so long! I didn't know that Maccabi dominated both leagues for that long of a period of time and I'm glad to see it is getting recognition! Also, it is good to see that although they are a top team in the Euroleague and dominating force in the Israeli league, they still commit to contributing to their community and helping people that are underprivileged. Do you think that they do a significant amount of social work given how big their program is?

  8. That was a great, concise summary of Maccabi! I think you touched on all of the important aspects of their history and made it clear that they are one of the most prominent basketball clubs not only in Israel, but in all of Europe. I didn't know that they played in an Israeli league in addition to the Euroleague. It is also refreshing to know that they are active in their community considering that there is always so much drama and tension in Israel, so I feel like it is great that they are making impressions on the youth. Assuming the Euroleague is much more difficult to win, do you think their six titles are more impressive than the 51 Israeli Premier titles? How do the leagues compare?

  9. Damn, 1932. Just a few years before EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, we've been edged out. It's insane to think how old some of these Euroleague teams are. They have such rich history. People must have connections to teams like this that go back so far in their families. I've also noticed that it seems like all the team's people in the class are blogging about dominate in their home countries. The Euroleague definitely gets the cream of the crop and its clearly disappointing to these teams and their fans when they go from so much success at home to struggles in the bigger league. They can't all continue to be as successful.

  10. I find it very interesting how a team could dominate for so long in one league, and then be promoted to a more prestigious league and still be a successful team. In America, the only comparison I can make to this is UConn Men's Basketball being promoted from the American Conference to the Big East Conference and being a powerhouse in both of them. This seems like a very inspiring team, one which I would be a huge fan of if I was a native of Tel Aviv.

  11. The history of Maccabi Tel Aviv F.C is so rich and interesting. I can't believe just how dominant they have been on every level and through every challenge they have been presented with, winning the title six times is quite an impressive feat, truly remarkable. The EuroLeague certainly comes together to churn out some of the best talent throughout the world so I think their wins in this league may be even more impressive than their IPL records; however, fifty one is a crazy amount and a level of domination we have only seen in the sports world a handful of times such as with UCONN women's basketball winning one hundred forty five games in a row.

  12. Maccabi Tel Aviv has a very big impact on the Euroleague, as it has seen so much success on and off of the court. Israel being so small and most likely having the smallest fan bases, it goes to show the potential of a having a Euroleague team in your city or country. I am very excited to see how Maccabi Tel Aviv continue to develop and succeed. I also am curious to see where other Euroleague teams expand to and how they develop into a prestigious club like Maccabi.
